It's REAL close... like 5 minutes away... I'll be
officially moving in (probably) on the 11th... that's
when the phone company is supposed to get the phone
turned on. You know as soon as I have a phone line so
I can get online, I'll move THAT DAY. I may be able to
move a few things in before then, though... waiting on
some paint touch up and the carpet is supposed to get
steam cleaned... like I'm all worried about that!!

I hadda go up to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office
this morning and have them run a background check ---
BEFORE I could move into the apartment... cost 5 bucks...
Megan's law is the reason... so they now know that I'm
not a sexual prededator!!

It's been downright COLD at night lately, but was 
rather balmy during the day.
