When there was a lull ~ I held my arms over my head and hollered "Throw me somethin', Mister!" in standard New Orleans Mardi Gras tradition that I KNEW Jimmy would recognize for what it was. His head spun around when he heard me ~~ he was looking RIGHT AT ME so I yelled again "Throw me somethin', Mister!"

He looked at me and asked "Me?" I nodded my head "Yes". He ran over to his microphone stand, got a brand new guitar pick and threw it to me...and that's when I took this picture.

MARSHALL CHAPMAN sometimes opens for Jimmy and wrote Perfect Partner which Jimmy performs and recorded; co-wrote Smart Woman (in a Real Short Skirt) with Jimmy; and helped write Last Mango In Paris, Everybody's On The Run, and Beyond The End. This woman had a profound effect on me personally and her music rocks!
