...Since the last report?

 Still don't know when we'll be able to return...
         
25th "Guest" count: 5 (same as yesterday)
         
26th "Guest" count: 6 (Daughter's cousin came back)
         
27th "Guest" count: 6 (same as yesterday)
We evacuated a month ago today.
         
28th "Guest" count: 6 (same as yesterday)
         
29th "Guest" count: 5 (Son-in-law gone for the night)

Since my son-in-law's drive time has increased with us staying at my
sister's, if he has to work late, he sleeps at a friend's home who
lives closer to the job site. My daughter and her oldest daughter are
leaving tomorrow. Granddaughter will spend some time with her great
grandmother while my daughter does some clean up on their house. She
and my son-in-law will spend the week end doing clean up and be back
here to my sister's Sunday night.

Still no insurance claim adjuster, but they're going to try and get the
roofer started ASAP anyway. Before the roofer starts, they need to get
up into the attic and get stuff out of the roofer's way so that's what
they'll be working on over the week end. Plus they need to get the
chain saw going on the two downed trees in the back yard. We understand
that insurance will cover at least part of the removal of the oak tree
(because when the oad tree fell, it took out part of the chain-link
fence. Since the pecan tree "just" fell, we don't think insurance will
cover removal.
