My Thanksgiving cactus was blooming this morning... 
took this picture before departing...
    

Departed on a very RARE cloudy morning at about 7:30.
As I was approaching Grand Coulee Dam, there was a
sign that said "Crown Vista Point" and I took it...
hoping to get a picture of the Grand Coulee Dam for my
friends, Edgar and Ann... they *always* ask about the
"big Grand Coulee Dam"
    

Breezed right through Spokane -- saw a sign that said
59° ... didn't even have to look for the "I-90"
sign... I was just on it... headed East... over 4th of
July Pass and Lookout Pass without incident and
arrived in Butte about 3:30 (Pacific time)...

Gassed up in Wallace, ID.

Had quite a time getting connected to the internet
from the motel room... took from 4:28 to 8:44 to get 
online!!   grr....

Tomorrow is the longest day of the whole trip... don't 
think I'll stop to take any pictures.
